The 2025 tour, titled NOW TOMORROW, began in Seoul, South Korea, and is now venturing into the United States, visiting cities such as New York, Washington, Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle, followed by cities in Asia. The band was formed through the 2017 MNET reality show Idol School, which also produced past shows like Produce 101, launching successful names in the past. The name "Fromis" was suggested by fans online, with the meaning "From Idol School," reflecting the group's origins. The number nine was added to symbolize the nine original members. The Korean pronunciation of the name also includes the word "Promise," representing the group's commitment to being the best artists for their fans.

Originally a nine-member girl group since their 2018 debut, the band now consists of five members: Lee Chaeyoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Song Hayoung, and Baek Jiheon. They signed with a new label in January and released their first music as a five-member group. On June 25, 2025, the group released their sixth mini-album EP From Our 20’s, featuring the title track "LIKE YOU BETTER." Despite the rebrand and shift, the band’s musical style remains loved by fans and has become a perfect summer hit. Even in this new chapter of their music careers, the group's dedicated fanbase reaffirmed their love, with the band taking first place on a music show while promoting "LIKE YOU BETTER."

On September 6, the girl group performed at the Paramount Theater in Oakland. The noticeable number of fans who filled the theater, lightsticks in hand, were ready to welcome the group after years of anticipation. The excitement was palpable, especially as the lights came on and the band embraced the stage as their own. The girls opened the show with the hit songs "We Go" and "Rebelutional," showcasing their upbeat melodies, harmonious choreography, and vocals—a perfect combination of old and new to kick off the night. The crowd roared with excitement, offering a warm welcome with each song.

It was clear that, as it was the group's first U.S. tour, they were a bit shy meeting fans for the first time. However, as the night went on, they expressed their awe and gratitude, playfully testing the loudness of each section on cue in the theater.

Some Memorable Fan-Favorite and Highlight Performances:

  • Twisted Love: Twisted Love was a refreshing switch-up as the group performed this track with mic stands, allowing them to showcase their strong and distinct vocal ranges. This was something fans could appreciate more than the earlier choreography-heavy songs.

The five members also prepared unique solo stages for the tour. While solo performances are common in group tours, this felt more personalized compared to the usual trendy American pop song covers some artists have chosen in the past to perform. Each song choice and style reflected the individual tastes of the members, helping them stand out as artists outside of the group.

  • Jiheon’s solo was a cover of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story,” where she showcased a sweet, romantic side, and smiling passionately as she sang. She later shared that it is a common proposal song in Korea, and in her performance, she expressed her love to the fans.
  • Nagyoung’s solo featured the popular Korean ballad "All About You" by Taeyeon, from the Hotel de Luna soundtrack. Fans waved their lightsticks in slow motion, deeply immersed in her serenade. She later expressed that it is one of her favorite songs and that she wanted to share it with her fans.
  • Chaeyoung’s solo was a cover of Selena Gomez’s "Who Says," an older pop hit with a relatable message of staying confident despite others' opinions.
  • Hayoung’s solo was a refreshing switch-up as she performed a hip-hop dance to "Anxiety Kills" by Evan Giia, a contrast to the softer performances of her members. Her choreography skills were thoroughly enjoyable to watch and got the crowd mesmerized and excited.
  • Jiwon finished the solos with a cover of Ariana Grande’s "Greedy," where she showcased her diva persona and vocal range, delivering the song with impressive runs and stage presence.

Finally, to end the night, highlight performances included Super Sonic, with its fast-paced choreography and tempo, had fans chanting and singing along excitedly. The recent title track “Like You Better” was also met with fans singing along and even shouting the Korean fan chant! Jiheon acknowledged how the fans were singing and dancing along, even though the lyrics were mostly in Korean, and expressed how touched they were by the support while in the middle of performing.

As the night was closing the members shared their various remarks of realizations and thanks to the crowd of fans before them. Some shared how they received so much energy and some acknowledged how long both them and the fans have waited for this moment to meet.

“Tonight, Oakland, you showed me so much love and energy. Thank you for reminding me that Flover are everywhere. I will treasure this moment forever,” Chaeyoung shared during the ending speeches. Her speech perfectly wraps up the emotions fans and the band have felt that night. Special thanks to Fromm for having us!
