HYBE Latin America Reveals the Members First Boy Group SANTOS BRAVOS



The debut of SANTOS BRAVOS is underway, HYBE Latin America announced the lineup of SANTOS BRAVOS on the night of October 21.  The final members were selected through the eponymous reality series, which began in mid-August, and their debut song were unveiled at a concert held at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.

SANTOS BRAVOS is HYBE Latin America’s second global project following the band audition program Pase a la Fama. Out of numerous applicants, 17 participants from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Spain, and the U.S. joined the training bootcamp. Only five where to move on to achieve their debut dream in the group.

In the end the five members revealed to debut in the group SANTOS BRAVOS are Drew, Alejandro, Kauê, Gabi, and KennethThe debut song is ‘0%’. The track carries a positive message: “Don’t worry about others’ eyes; and enjoy this moment,” set to a heartbeat-like beat. Johnny Goldstein, a producer who has collaborated with global pop stars such as The Black Eyed Peas, Britney Spears, and Madonna, worked the song.


The sold-out debut concert originally planned for 5,000 seats, went up to 10,000 seats. The concert was streamed live on YouTube channel, with Mexican singer-actor Dana as the host. 

On the 23rd, they participated in ‘The Building of Santos Bravos’ session during the Billboard Latin Music Week. Now in its 36th year, the Billboard Latin Music Week is the largest event representing the Latin music industry. 

The members attended the session alongside Jaime Escallón, the overall producer of the reality series, and Leila Cobo, Billboard Latin’s Chief Content Officer, to highlight the excellence of K-pop training and production systems. By applying the ‘K-pop methodology’ tailored to local culture and characteristics, HYBE’s ‘Multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy—aiming to lead the global music market by discovering world-class stars—is expected to gain attention once again.
