The largest fan-artist festival is back. CJ Entertainment has released information for KCON JAPAN 2026. This year it’s set to take place on May 8-10, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. During these days, multiple stages and booths will be open to fans, allowing them to experience activities, performances, and a chance to see their favorite artists before the main event, the M COUNTDOWN Stage. As it’s two months away, we now have the official line-up for each day, and it’s honestly a multi-generation event.
Stage Breakdown
KCON continues to grow each year, bringing popular and emerging groups together. Allowing fans to experience new music and allowing groups to gain new audiences. As this continues, new stages are brought, allowing more interactions between the two. So here’s your go-to guide for each stage (even if you're not able to attend KCON JAPAN, not to worry, KCON LA is set to take place a couple of months after)
M COUNTDOWN Stage:
M COUNTDOWN is one of the highlights of the events as it's the headline concert, including a mix of different generations of K-pop coming together. Artists will not only perform during their set, but special collaborations and MCs are what make the event exclusive. One highlight for the fans is the “DREAM STAGE,” in which fans audition for a spot to perform next to their favorite group, creating an iconic memory for both fans and artists.
Artist Stage:
Artist Stage allows fans to experience mini-concerts during the day while the convention is open. They would also participate in special activities, each varying throughout the day.
