Unbound Entertainment Group announced Singer and Songwriter Sam Kim has teamed up with UK-based DJ & Producer Preditah to release a new single, marking the first official collaboration between the two performers.
“I was excited when Preditah agreed to join me on this track. It’s been an honor working collaborating with him,” said Kim. “He’s one of the hardest working artists in the game and just a constant inspiration in staying creative."
Sam Kim first entered the spotlight following his runner-up performance on the South Korean reality show "K-pop Star". He debuted on the scene back in 2016 with his first EP, “I am Sam,” which featured his iconic soulful, lively guitar playing which is now referred to as “Sam Groove”. Sam has been constantly in great demand by not only teaming up with a variety of Korean musicians like Primary and Loco but also being invited as a special guest on stage in several global artists’ shows including Charlie Puth, Tom Misch and Ruel. Kim’s dynamic guitar riff is set to blend together with the dance-garage style production of Preditah.
Preditah, who’s known for his breakthrough track,‘The Big Wok’, is at the forefront of the new generation of producers/DJs emerging from the UK. He was also responsible for the 2017 smash ‘On My Mind’ with Jorja Smith which featured on her debut album ‘Lost & Found. With five instrumental EPs under his belt (Solitaire EP, Eightsome EP, Circles EP, Red Bull EP & Gears of Grime EP) it is quite impossible to visit the UK club scene without hearing one of his tracks.
Both artists began the journey with the incredible challenge of capturing the contrast between Kim’s soft but powerful vocals and Preditah’s unique tone of remix-underground roots.
Sam Kim and Preditah’s new track is set to be released in August.
Sam Kim recently released his newst single "The Juice" on June 23, 2021 and "These Walls" on July 15.
