Vanner in Dallas 2022 - Bringing BOOST UP: PART 1 to the Southwest (Recap & Photos)

Vanner, who debuted in February of 2019, performed an explosive setlist in at South Side Music Hall in Dallas on March 28th.

South Side Music Hall may be a small venue — Vanner's stage presence and talent, however, are anything but. The quintet undoubtedly can make a music hall feel like a stadium, and the setlist passes as if in the blink of an eye.

Just one of thirteen tour dates for their 2022 US tour dubbed "BOOST UP: PART 1," their show provided a mixture of entertainment ranging from the standard musical performance to Q and A sessions featuring audience members picked on the spot by the members themselves.

Just as the locals hoped, during the Q and A sessions the members bragged about trying signature Texas foods, including brisket to celebrate rapper Ahxian's birthday and fast food favorite Whataburger. They agreed that their collective pet peeve is people chewing too loudly. And, for the cherry on top, they gave the crowd a Yeehaw before fans could ask.

The members conversed with concertgoers confidently using a mix of Korean and limited English, but language barriers couldn't stop them from self-expression — even with a translator they opted to speak English more often than not and barreled through obstacles with pure charisma and wit.

As far as Vanner's setlist goes, their repertoire for the night included title tracks, b-sides, and member solos to showcase their different colors as pop artists. Members proved they can stand alone or in units in addition to their traditional synergy as a full group.

Vanner's "BOOST UP: PART 1" isn't quite over yet if you haven't caught them live so far - 6 shows still remain, their tour dates traversing from the midwest to the west coast.
