July is the month of the comeback, and Mirae is up next. The seven-member group subtly dropped their teaser on 3rd July at 9pm KST with their visual video teaser. Titled ‘The Hope that Whispers’ we see each member introduced through various scenes. A refreshing, crisp concept is presented alongside the soothing gentle tones from the members.
The concept matches wonderfully with the summer music playing gently in the background, the 2 min concept cuts to each member. Playing out as domestic bliss, different rooms with each member doing domestic tasks. Yubin Reads in the Sun with the quote “She never told her love, but let concealment, like a worm i’ the bud. Feed on her damask cheek.” Alluding to perhaps the theme of heartbreak, romance, and links to the theme shown in the trailer.
The new album titled ‘Boys will be Boys’ is set for release on July 19th KST. This album will continue the future trilogy of the boy's courage and passion, following their previous 'Boy' series. It has been 10 months since their last comeback with 'Ourturn.' The album featured two concepts, 'Drip' and 'Drop,' inspired by their lead track of the same title.
June 21st saw the news of their comeback confirmed by DSP Media “MIRAE will make a comeback next month. Please look forward to a comeback boasting a different, never-before-seen charm from the MIRAE boys."
