NewJeans Partners with IPX (F.K.A LINE FRIENDS) for Official IP Merchandise


IPX is thrilled to announce that it has partnered with the K-Pop group NewJeans for the NewJeans IPs’ official merchandise business.

This special collaboration between IPX, the creator of the beloved BT21 (co-created with BTS) and TRUZ (co-created with TREASURE) character IPs with unrivalled creative capabilities and IP business expertise, and NewJeans, the fastest rising K-Pop rookies who are changing the paradigm of the scene is surely going to capture the hearts of many global fans.

What’s already grabbed the attention of the fans are 5 of the newly created character IP "bunini," inspired by NewJeans' iconic “TOKKI (which means bunny in Korean)” mascot and IPX's popular cute miniature IP series "minini," making an appearance in NewJeans’ recent MV of “ASAP,” which has gotten 7.35M+ views in just 6 days.

Together with IPX’s creativity, NewJeans IPs are featured on a variety of unique products. The whole merchandise collection will include a wide range of products like plushies, smartphone and AirPods cases, keychains, photo albums, baseball caps as well as stickers for mobile messaging apps and so on. 

Select products featuring NewJeans’ bunini and The Powerpuff Girls version IPs will be available for global pre-order online at LINE FRIENDS COLLECTION website from August 2 to 4.



To celebrate the launch of the partnership and the release of NewJeans' 2nd EP "Get Up," IPX will present official pop-up stores at LINE FRIENDS Gangnam and Hongdae stores in Seoul, Korea from August 11 to 31. Each of the pop-up stores will feature two different themes in line with the concept of the EP, and are already attracting a lot of attention from fans around the world. IPX plans to open more pop-up stores in other regions as well, including the U.S., China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
