Weeekly Comes Back with 5th Mini Album "ColoRise" and 'VROOM VROOM' Music Video

 

IST's girl group Weeekly (Lee Soo-jin, Monday, Ji-han, Park So-eun, Joa Lee Jae-hee) returns with their 5th mini album "ColoRise" on November 1. 


This album is the first new album in about 1 year and 6 months since the 4th mini album 'Play Game: AWAKE' released in March of last year.

At the showcase to commemorate the new release, member Park So-eun said,


 "I wanted to show a step forward for the fans who have been waiting for a long time. I looked back on my past performances and tried to fill in the gaps."



She then said, “As the concept of this album is growth, we practiced facial expressions and live performances to create a different appearance,” and added, “I hope you will welcome our new appearance.”


Park So-eun introduced this album as "a combination of the words 'color' and 'rise', and it is an album that promises to color the music industry with Weeekly's various colors and become even more extraordinary." At the same time, she said, "It contains songs from a wider variety of genres than any other album. I hope you will watch our various transformations."


Meanwhile the performance dirctor of the title song 'VROOM VROOM' is Lachika, a famous dance crew from the popular survival show Street Woman Fighter


Lee Soo-jin revealed that she first met Lachika on Mnet's dance competition program Queendom Puzzle, which ended in August. Among the members, Lee Soo-jin, Park So-eun, Ji-han, and Jo-ah have appeared on Queendom Puzzle. She commented that it is good to be able to work with them this time.
