ATEEZ Named First-Ever Record Store Day K-pop Artist of the Year

ATEEZ has been announced as Record Store Day’s K-pop Artist of the Year. This is the first time the honor has been bestowed and the first time a K-pop artist will be participating in Record Store Day, the annual global celebration of the culture of the record store.

ATEEZ, known for their dynamic performances and chart-topping hits, has captured the hearts of fans worldwide and earned them this prestigious recognition. As part of the celebration, ATEEZ will be unveiling an exclusive vinyl release of their latest album, which hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart late 2023, "THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL (X Ver.)". The special vinyl will be distributed by indie K-pop record label hello82, a division of KAI Media Group, and will be exclusively available at participating record stores on Record Store Day, April 20.

This exclusive vinyl release promises to be a collector's item for ATEEZ fans, offering a unique experience with two unreleased tracks and a distinct design of the album. The vinyl will be available only at these record stores, adding an extra layer of exclusivity for fans eager to get their hands on this limited edition. Special inclusions and collectibles include:
  • Original tracks from THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL (12”)
  • 2 unreleased songs on a bonus vinyl 7” exclusive to Record Store Day (not available on any streaming platforms)
  • 1 of 8 random PhotoTickets of the ATEEZ members

"K-pop is a major part of the music industry, and it is exciting to be able to finally celebrate ATEEZ with their dedicated fanbase on Record Store Day. It’s also exciting to see them on the Coachella line-up this year and we are thrilled to honor them as our first K-pop Artist of the Year,” says Record Store Day co-founder Michael Kurtz.

ATEEZ has consistently demonstrated their musical prowess and creativity, and this recognition from Record Store Day further solidifies their position as trailblazers in the K-pop industry. Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for Record Store Day on April 20, 2024, and visit participating record stores to secure their copy of this exclusive vinyl release.
